We had an awesome stay with a perfectly cozy room and a fab view of the fells. The clean, spacious bathroom was a bonus, and fresh coffee in the room was a nice touch.

the crown is a lovely place! the rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with a calm vibe. it's in a great central location, just a short stroll to the lake. the staff were really helpful, making the stay even better. breakfast was lovely, and we enjoyed the great food and real ale in the pub.

The King Room was super comfy and spacious. The bed was amazing, very clean with nice decor that made it cozy. Plus, having fresh milk for tea was a nice touch! Honestly, it felt like a little luxury getaway in the village. The location is spot on, so close to everything. I’d definitely take more cushions for more comfort though!

We had a fantastic stay with our kids in a family room that included fun bunk beds, which they loved! The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to cater to our needs, making us feel right at home. the meals were delicious, with great choices for both breakfast and dinner. The only improvement would be to offer a few more options at breakfast to enhance the dining experience.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, with a delicious breakfast and a fantastic location close to beautiful walks, making it easy to explore the area and rent a canoe at the nearby boating centre.
